The Orion™ line of switch boxes control functions for all
911EP products. Complying with SAE recommendations, all
three switch boxes offer annunciated backlit momentary
push buttons, as well as LED traffic director indicators.
Following the lines of all 911EP products, the Orion
switch boxes offer a low-profile design that fits
efficiently into any console. The computer controlled,
low-current design of the Orion™ provides for a
user-configurable, easy-to-install switch box solution,
which is available in the following models:
Orion™ Director
Designed primarily for use with the Traffic Director
Compatible with LED Star®, LS12®, 360 Star, Warning Light,
in addition to any low-current 12-volt products
Equipped with LED Display, demonstrating how your LED
lights are performing
Includes four low-current 12-volt outputs which allows for
multiple lights
Orion™ Standard
Designed for the GALAXY Light Bar Includes a four-position
progressive slide switch and four computer-controlled
momentary push buttons
Ability to turn progressive functions on and off
Computer-controlled, with 10 outputs giving full
functionality of the GALAXY
Directional button has four different functions for
directional control
LED Arrow indication
Two 0.5 amp outputs for activating high-current relays and
secondary devices
Orion™ Elite
Connects to the GALAXY Elite using two power and two
communication wires
The CID Box, a required device for the GALAXY Elite, is
integrated into the Orion™ Elite
Additional outputs for operating secondary devices
Controllers communicate with the GALAXY Elite through CAN
communication
RJ45 connectors for future programmability
